Meet the Optometrist

  • Dr. Beal
    Dr. Angela Beal, OD

    Dr. Beal grew up in Dublin, Ohio, before attending Miami University for her undergraduate degree in chemistry. She graduated in 2012 from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Beal worked inside Sears Optical for many years before transitioning to her current location, inside Macy's at Polaris Fashion Place.

    Dr. Beal currently lives in Lewis Center with her husband, sons Elliot and Austin, and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys playing video games, needlework projects, and spending time with her family.

    'I decided to become an optometrist when I was eight years old. I remember driving home from my local optometrist's office, wearing my new eyeglasses for the first time. I could finally see the leaves on trees! In that moment I knew I wanted to help other people see clearly so that they could fully experience the beauty life has to offer.'
